The appellate court in Oslo upheld the earlier verdict against a citizen of Russia Adam Magomadov. He was accused of having links with terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia). On Friday, March 24, reports TASS with reference to the Norwegian Telegraph Bureau.
In the coming days, the court must decide where the Russian citizen will serve his sentence. It was assumed that Norway can deliver it to Russian authorities.
In August 2016, the 23-year-old Russian, who lived in the Norwegian capital, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for what he colluded with militants to carry out terrorist attacks in the Kingdom.
