Activists of the Russian popular front (onf) plan until the fall to hold three conferences, which will determine the “pain points” in matters of ecology and environmental protection. This was reported by coordinator of the Center for public monitoring of the popular front for problems of ecology and forest protection, state Duma Deputy Vladimir Gutenev, reports TASS.
According to guteneva, the conference will be held in the Urals, the Volga region and the North-West of Russia. Special attention will be paid to the conservation of water resources in the country.
“Today it is important to identify the specifics that she has entered in the Federal and regional legislation. We have become a force that will lift plat of problems that never got resolved over the last decade,” explained co-chair of the Central headquarters of the onf Olga Timofeeva.
In January it was reported that activists of the popular front will create an interactive map of the landfills. The map will be created in the framework of the project “General cleaning”. Objects on it will be done by volunteers. The idea of the organizers, later the data will be able to use local authorities to eliminate illegal landfills.
