WADA has spent millions of dollars to investigate the situation with doping in Russia

The world anti-doping Agency (WADA) spent on investigating the situation with doping in Russia more than 3.7 million dollars. With an annual budget of $ 30 million, stated on the official website of the organization.


 


In December 2016, the Commission, under the leadership of the McLaren unveiled the second part of the report about doping in Russian sports. Then, the IBU (international biathlon Union) were given a list of athletes suspected of using illegal substances.


 


However, at the end of February this year, the leadership of WADA has stated that the report of the independent Commission under the leadership of Richard McLaren insufficient evidence of the involvement of Russian athletes for violating anti-doping rules.
