Kiev gave Moscow a list of 400 prisoners in Ukraine Russians

Parliament Commissioner for human rights Valeria Lutkovska has prepared a list of 400 prisoners the Russians, who are on the territory of Ukraine. On Monday, March 6, said Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova, the TV channel “Russia 24”, reports TASS.

“We have agreed today in Geneva that in case of need to visit those citizens associated with the condition of serving their sentences, with the provision of medical care, it will provide me with assistance in the opportunity to come to Ukraine and visit our citizens,” — said Moskalkova.

According to her, the Russian authorities have for several years appealed to the foreign Ministry and the prison authorities of Ukraine to obtain information about prisoners.

Moskalkova held an informal meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Valeria Lutkovskaya on March 6. “Discussed the movement of Ukrainian citizens contained in the IR of Russia on the territory of Ukraine, agreed to continue the practice of monitoring visits to places of deprivation of liberty where the citizens of the two countries and exchange experience,” she wrote in her Instagram.

In late February, Deputy Minister of justice of Ukraine Sergey Petuhov has informed that the Ukrainian and Russian sides agreed on the date of transfer of sentenced 12 citizens of Ukraine, who earlier served sentence in correctional facilities of Russia in the Crimea, and was later transferred to other institutions outside the Peninsula. The transfer was scheduled for March 3, however, as reported in the Ministry of justice, it did not take place “for technical reasons”.
