Zakharova said the US Ambassador about the “dangers” of communication with diplomats from Russia
The official representative of the foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said the US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft that he “dangerous” to communicate with representatives of the Russian foreign Ministry.
According to her, she went to the foreign Ministry met US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft. “You put yourself in danger by talking with the Russian diplomats — and suddenly CNN “knows”, — said Zakharov. U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Tefft on March 3, met with Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov. During the meeting the diplomats discussed “some issues of bilateral relations”, said the press service of the Russian Ministry of foreign Affairs.
CNN March 1 published an article, which reported on the meetings of US attorney General Jeff and Roman sessions with the Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergei Kislyak held before the presidential elections in the country. Current and former senior members of U.S. government television said that Kislyak “is regarded by American intelligence as one of the highest in Russia, spies and recruiters in Washington.”
U.S. attorney General Jeff sessions has stated that it is not met with anybody from the Russian officials to discuss issues regarding the presidential campaign. He stressed that “no idea” where “these unfounded allegations”.
The US President Donald trump said that he trusts the attorney-General Jeff Seshns. However, he noted that he was “not aware” of the alleged meetings held attorney Kislyak.
