Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, congratulating with the Day of defender of the Fatherland modernized the famous saying of Emperor Alexander III – “throughout the world we have only two true allies – our army and Navy”, added to them also the Russian military-industrial complex. The corresponding message Deputy Prime Minister has published on his page in Facebook.
“Russia has three allies – Army, Navy and Military-industrial complex, – Rogozin wrote. – Congratulations to our loyal allies on the Day of defender of the Fatherland! My special gratitude to veterans!”.
On the relevant statement of Alexander III in his “Memoirs” (1933) wrote Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich: “throughout the world we have only two true allies, he would speak to his Ministers: – our army and Navy. Everyone else at the first opportunity, they will turn against us.”
