MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. Military airfields and runways in the Amur region, Voronezh, North Ossetia and Saratov region is planned to reconstruct in the next two years. This was reported to journalists by the commander of the VKS RF, hero of Russia, Colonel-General Viktor Bondarev.
“This year we conduct design and survey work on the airfield Ukrainka (Amur oblast), next year there will begin the repair strip. Repairs to airfields Steppe (Chita region), Mozdok (North Ossetia), Baltimore (Voronezh), is the second stage of reconstruction of Engels (the air base near Saratov)”, – he said.
According to Bondarev, to complete the reconstruction of the listed aerodromes is planned for 2018-19 years.
