The President of the International military sports Council (CISM), the detained human rights defender al-Shino expressed the Russian leadership’s gratitude for the contribution to establishment of peace in Syria during the opening ceremony of the winter World military games.
“Dear friends, I share with you concern about threats to global security, the flow of refugees in the Western world of asymmetric terrorism, global poverty and environmental problems on our planet. So personally, I would like to Express my appreciation to the entire leadership of Russia for his contribution to peace along with CISM in conflict-torn Syria”, – said the detained human rights defender al-Shino.
III winter world military games opened this evening at the sports Palace “Ice cube” in Sochi. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu. The competition is held from 22 to 28 February to 7 sports, including biathlon, Alpine skiing, short track, orienteering.
