BEIJING, 24 Feb — RIA Novosti, Zhanna Manukyan. The police found the substance, which was killed by Kim Jong-Nam, brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN, is a chemical agent nerve agents (VX Nerve Agent), which is a chemical weapon.
“Malaysian police have received preliminary results of analyses of the chemical Department on the recent death of a citizen of North Korea,” reads a press release of the Malaysian police.
Centre for analysis of chemical weapons of the police Department conducted tests of samples taken from the mucous membrane of the eyes and face of the deceased.
“The chemical was identified as “VX nerve agent” — agent nerve gases,” reads the press release of the Malaysian police.
It explains that VX added to the types of chemical weapons Convention on the prohibition of the development, production, stockpiling and use of chemical weapons and on their destruction of 1997.
