In recent years, the opinion of Americans towards Russia and its President Vladimir Putin has improved. This is evidenced by data survey research company Gallup.
Among the respondents, and 28% have a positive attitude towards Russia, 70% of respondents reported a negative attitude towards the country.
Positively to Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed 22% of Americans, 72% — on the contrary.
As noted by Gallup, the percentage of Americans who favor Putin, is the highest since 2003. In 2015, the year it was equal to 13%.
