Muradov also noted that the annexation of Crimea to Russia in accordance with international legal norms. It happened when the “over the Republic faced a life threat of ethnic cleansing and war emanating from the nationalist authorities, who came in the framework of a coup to power in Kiev,” said Crimean Deputy Prime Minister.
Earlier Monday, the head of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Viktor Ozerov expressed the opinion that the plan of lifting the sanctions, supposedly designed by the Verkhovna Rada Deputy Andriy Artemenko, is absurd.
Press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin did not know about this initiative.
