The island Richard Branson put up for rent on Airbnb

Private island of Necker, owned by British businessman Richard Branson, will soon be rented through Airbnb. On Monday, February 20, the newspaper Daily Star.

Airbnb has acquired the canadian company Luxury Retreats, which rents out luxury accommodation. The service offers four thousand accommodation facilities around the world.

Among them, in particular, include the Necker in the Caribbean sea, part of the British virgin Islands. That’s where former U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle went to rest after the departure of the politician to resign.

The area of the island Necker is approximately 30 hectares. Built on it the resort is designed for 34 adults, tourists and six children.

In January, Airbnb has offered to rent an island near the canadian capital of Ottawa for $ 25 per person per night.
