MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Permanent representative of Russia to the UN Vitaly Churkin was feeling bad, being in the building of the Russian diplomatic mission in new York, after which he was taken to new York Presbyterian hospital (New York Presbyterian Hospital) where he died.

This was reported by the AP with reference to the Deputy permanent representative to the UN Vladimir Safronkov.
According to the Agency, the exact cause of death of a Russian diplomat is not yet known.
The New York Post, in turn, citing sources, said that Churkin had any “heart problems”, by the moment of arrival of physicians he was unconscious. According to the newspaper, he was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
As reported earlier, the Russian foreign Ministry, Vitaly Churkin died the day before your 65th birthday.
Churkin was born on 21 Feb 1952 in Moscow in the family of aviation engineer. Since 8 April 2006, he served as permanent representative to the UN in new York, was the representative of the Russian Federation in the UN Security Council.
