The parties to the conflict in the Donbass cease fire to repair power lines in Avdeevka
The truce will last till 16.00 GMT. The experts have already started repairs on the damaged during the shelling of the power line.
KIEV, Feb 19 — RIA Novosti. In the Donbass agreed to a ceasefire on both sides from 12.00 to 16.00 MSK for maintenance works on power lines supplying the plant, the experts began work, according to the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations (SSES).
On the eve of Avdiivka and to Avdiivka coke plant in the Donetsk region was again de-energized as a result of the shelling.
The data on the cease-fire had been received as at 13.00 GMT. To conduct mine clearance activities in place aimed pyrotechnic unit of the Armed forces of Ukraine, after they repair high-voltage lines will take the brigade “DTEK high-voltage networks”, noted in gschs.
The Ministry reported that the emergency repair work involved 128 people and 32 units of equipment, including from gschs — 67 people and 24 pieces of equipment.
Avdeevka at the end of January — early February remained without electricity for almost a week because of damage to power lines as a result of attacks. Repair crews could not repair due to the fact that the fire did not stop. Heat and water supplied to the city intermittently, due to the energy from Avdiivka coke plant, which was forced to stop production and work on heating the city.
