Denis Boronenkov
The former Deputy of the state Duma Denis Voronenkov automatically ceased to be a member of the Communist party after he had acquired citizenship of another state. On Thursday, February 16, said the first Vice-speaker of the lower house of Parliament Ivan Melnikov, reports “Interfax”.
“For his expulsion from the party, no additional procedures are required”, — said Melnikov, consisting of the Communist party.
Earlier in the party pointed out that formally exclude Boronenkov can only be the decision of the Congress. This need was connected with the fact that a former member was included in the Central Committee. To exclude members of the Central Committee requires a shared Assembly.
Earlier on Thursday it became known that the party “United Russia” intends to deprive the spouse Boronenkov — singer and ex-Deputy of the state Duma from ER Mary Maksakova party membership due to the existing citizenship of Germany. The decision can be made at the next meeting of the regional political Council, said in the EP.
The head of the Duma Committee on culture of United Russia party Stanislav Govorukhin described the move Boronenkov and Maksakova Ukraine betrayal, reports the national news service (NSN).
February 15, Boronenkov said that was never in the Communist party. On the same day the Investigative Committee of Russia declared the former Deputy of the Federal investigation.
At the end of last year Denis Boronenkov, along with his wife moved to live from Moscow to Kiev. He said that he received a Ukrainian passport in December 2016.
In accordance with the Charter of the Communist party, in case of loss of Russian citizenship is forfeited and the membership of the party. Citizen, expelled from the party, entitled to submit a personal written statement on the re-entry.
An exception from “an United Russia” also it is possible to appeal to higher party instances.
