The President of Russia Vladimir Putin met with outgoing governors. During the meeting the President called the rotation of heads of regions is a natural process, reports TASS.
“Rotation is a totally natural process, self-evident. I am sure that you will be able to apply their forces and other areas. I will do everything to ensure that your experience and your knowledge of the situation in particular region and in the country as a whole has been effectively used in the future,” Putin said.
The President thanked the former head of Buryatia, Karelia, Perm Krai, Novgorod and Ryazan regions for their work.
Putin stated that over the years the governors of these regions “have changed and changed for the better”, although there are always challenges.
