The death toll in road accident with bus in Argentina has risen to 19 people
MOSCOW, 18 Jul — RIA Novosti. The death toll in a traffic accident with a bus in the West of Argentina has risen to 19 people, at least 21 were injured, according to the Argentine Clarin portal.
Earlier it was reported 13 dead.
The incident occurred on Saturday at dawn in the province of Mendoza, on the road towards Chile. According to local media, the bus was owned by the Chilean company TurBus. According to the company, among the passengers were a 32 a citizen of Argentina, four of them Chileans, one Colombian and a citizen of Haiti. Also in the bus there were at least three children.

As the portal, 16 people died on the spot, three more died in hospital.
Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. According to preliminary data, the bus driver lost control. According to surviving passengers, the cause of the accident could have been speeding.
