Lavrov: Russia must stop the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements
MOSCOW, February 15. /TASS/. Moscow hopes that the partners in the “channel format” will stop the attempts to sabotage the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
This was stated by foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at the annual meeting with students and faculty of the Diplomatic Academy of the foreign Ministry.
According to him, the only way to overcome the crisis in Ukraine is a full implementation of the Minsk agreements. “We hope that our partners in the “channel format”, and also the USA, will stop the attempts to sabotage the Minsk agreements by Kiev,” — said the Minister.
“Obviously, the residents of Donbass should have the right to self-government and the use of the native language in full compliance with European and world practice, — said the head of the Russian foreign Ministry. — We hope that our partners in the channel format, and also the USA, will stop the attempts to sabotage the Minsk agreements by Kiev”.
