MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. State tests of the modernized combat helicopter Mi-28NM is planned to begin in late 2017 – early 2018, said Tuesday the head of the holding “Helicopters of Russia” Andrey Boginsky.
“We expect to begin state tests of the Mi-28NM. The beginning of this year,” he said.
Also Boginsky said that the holding plans to deliver this year customers more than 220 helicopters.
“Plans less than last year, I think it’s more than 220 helicopters, but in the course of the first quarter these figures, I think, still to be determined on the basis of the study of the question of the supply of products for export, including actively develops software for medical evacuation,” he said. So, according to him, the Ministry of health and the Ministry of industry and trade “is a constant clarification of the scope of the order”.
Boginsky noted that the holding company expect to increase the volume of the order. “Whether it’s ordering for this year or he will move to the next, I think we will soon see,” – said Boginsky.
