Member of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Alexey Pushkov called the reasons why Kiev has provoked the intensification of the conflict in the Donbass, reports FAN.
“Poroshenko now needs to disrupt the rapprochement between Moscow and Washington, which for him is fraught, first, the fact that Ukraine will leave for the U.S. on the second or even third plan, and second, those that appear likely to lifting the sanctions against Russia, and, thirdly, the fact that weakened the unity of the Western camp. That is, the United States will improve relations with Russia and the European Union to some extent will be forced to go beyond the administration of the United States. These are the political reasons for this increase, which, of course, organized Kyiv”, – he said.
Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said that Kiev provoked the conflict in the town to waive the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
