Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on creation of the Russian Fund of development of information technologies, information posted on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation.
“The Fund was established to support the development and promotion of Russian software, support of scientific, scientific-technical, innovative activity and development of innovation infrastructure in the sphere of information and communication technologies in the legal form of the Fund,” notes on the government website. The Fund will provide support for the promotion of Russian software (software) in both domestic and foreign markets, as well as interaction with potential customers to define requirements and features to the software development organization software testing and implementation at the initial stages. This decision does not involve additional funding from the state budget other than what was provided for by the Federal law on the budget for the planning period.
