VLADIVOSTOK, January 27. /TASS/. Diesel submarine “Komsomolsk-on-Amur” returned to the combat strength of the Pacific fleet (TOF) after repair and modernization at the Amur shipbuilding plant (Khabarovsk Krai). About it reported in a press-service TOF.
“Today in Vladivostok held a solemn ceremony of input in the combat strength of the Pacific fleet large diesel submarine “Komsomolsk-on-Amur”. Pacific fleet commander Admiral Sergei Avakyants on behalf of the Military Council of the fleet thanked the specialists of the plant for the work done and congratulated the submariners with the entry into operation of the modernized submarine”, – said the head of Department of information support the press service of the Eastern military district, Pacific fleet Vladimir Matveev.
