Russia in any case supported Serbia, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin live on Serbian national TV RTS, responding to a question about non-alignment of Belgrade for sanctions the EU against Russia.
On Friday evening, Rogozin attends the ceremony of inauguration of the new President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic. In the morning they held a bilateral meeting, in which Vucic said that the European integration of Serbia will not prevent the preservation of good relations with Russia, and that Belgrade will not join the EU sanctions against Russia.
“We are traditional friends and we continue them to stay,” — said Rogozin, talking with the Serbian leading up to the English language.
According to him, Russia knows that the Serbian people should make “the right choice in their policies in a very difficult political situation in the Balkans”.
“In any case, Russia supports Serbia,” — said Deputy Prime Minister.
