The Ministry of health and Russian Railways organized a free HIV testing in trains

Moscow. June 26. INTERFAX.RU — the Ministry of health of Russia together with Russian Railways will hold a rally in which to train trailer cars, in which passengers will be able to take a test for HIV infection.

As the press service of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation, specially equipped cars hooked to the train in regions with high prevalence of HIV infection. In them, the passengers can get free and anonymous rapid testing for HIV with pre-test and post-test counseling.

“The campaign will last from July 8 to October 20, 2017. Trains will stop at stations 24 cities of the Russian Federation”, — stated in the message.

Trains take the route where the incidence of HIV infection up to two times higher than the national average. This is the Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Ulyanovsk region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
