The Moscow city court reduced the term of arrest of opposition leader Navalny for five days

The Moscow city court reduced the term of administrative arrest is appointed the opposition leader, the founder of the Fund of struggle against corruption (FBK) Alexei Navalny for violation of the order at an unsanctioned rally in the capital on 12 June, with 30 days to 25 days, reported RAPSI in a press-service of the court.
Thus, the decision of Simonovsky district court of Moscow on the recognition of Navalny guilty of an offence under part 8 of article 20.2 (violation of the established procedure of organizing or holding meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches or pickets) of the administrative code was changed in terms of sentencing.
The action of the founder of FBK Navalny in Central Moscow on June 12 in coordination with the city authorities was to be held on Prospekt Akademika Sakharova, however, a few hours before the event, the opposition leader urged his supporters to change the route and exit to Tverskaya street.
In this regard, he and about five hundred people were detained by law enforcement officers against them, the protocols on administrative offences.
