In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the celebration began with a rally, after which about 100 cyclists rode with Russian symbols on the Central streets of the city.
In Vladivostok, the celebration began to mark on dozens of sites. In the centre of town held a parade, the parade of bikers. On the island of Russian was held a costume party on the beach, and the students took part in the ecological action on garbage collection.
In Yakutsk, the celebration began with a parade of friendship of peoples. Hundreds of residents and representatives of national-cultural associations marched through the center of the city in national costumes.
Russia day is celebrated as a national holiday since 1992. On this day in 1990 adopted the Declaration on state sovereignty of the RSFSR.
