A state of emergency due to heavy rains declared in seven villages of Primorye

In seven villages Chuguevsky district declared a state of emergency at the local level due to flood. This was reported on the website of the regional administration.

“Due to the significant amount of precipitations on the territory of chuguyevsky municipal district and the rise of the water in the rivers Ussuri, Pavlovka, Izvilinka up to 1.2 meters there was a partial destruction of the roadway on the roads of Izvilinka — Berezovka and Lenine — Berezovka, and also damaged the bridge over the river Izvilinka”, — reported in the Department of civil protection.

The regime will operate in the villages of Berezovka, novomykhailivka, Izvilinka, sokolivka, Pavlovka, Cleaning and Antonivka. It is noted that in these settlements are impounded 25 yards.

It is noted that the villagers had to be evacuated. The settlements provided with fuel, medicines and food.

The maximum rise of water in the upper reaches of the Ussuri river and the flooding of farmland and of individual sections of local roads is projected for Tuesday, June 6. Further flooding will shift the river is expected to rise in water up to 1.4 meters. According to forecasters, in the near future the rains in the region will continue.
