Chaika suggested to return to prosecutors the right to conduct proceedings against the investigators
Prosecutor General Yury Chaika proposed to give his subordinates the right to investigate criminal cases against investigators. He stated at the St. Petersburg international economic forum on Thursday, June 1, RIA Novosti reported.
In his opinion, the extension of the powers of the Prosecutor’s office will greatly improve the business climate in the country.
“We have long been talking about making a special subject of investigation was within the competence of the Prosecutor’s office.
