INTERFAX.RU — the Executive Committee of Kazan has offered to hold anti-corruption rally scheduled for June 12, on the outskirts of town from 7 o’clock in the morning, reported the Agency “Interfax” on Wednesday, coordinator of the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny Elvira Dmitrieva.
“Tired, offered to hold the event on the outskirts of the city, in the village of Yudino, from 7 to 9 am,” said she.
According to Dmitrieva, the decision on whether to accept the offer of the authorities or not, is still pending, as is necessary to consult with the applicant Azat by Gabdulvalieva, which is currently under administrative arrest for 10 days on the decision of the Vakhitovsky district court of Kazan, before which found him guilty under part 2 of article 20.2 of the administrative code (organizing or conducting a public event without filing in the prescribed manner notice of the meeting).
According to the decision of the authorities of Kazan, at the time of the Confederations Cup in the city a number of restrictions on holding mass actions.
So, from 1 June to 12 July 2017 meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches and picketing not connected with the conduct of the confederations Cup and world Cup can be held in the capital of Tatarstan no more than two hours and from 7:00 to 17:00, and the number of participants can not exceed 150 people.
Also restricted the venue of such actions: they identified three areas on the outskirts of the city near the houses of culture in the settlements Derbyshki, Yudino and in the Park Petrova in the Kirov district of Kazan.
