Experimental performance Kirill Serebrennikov show at the festival in St. Petersburg
Moscow. May 30. INTERFAX.RU Eighteenth international theatre festival “rainbow” opens at theatre of the young spectator in St. Petersburg Tuesday, reported the press-service of city Committee on culture.
Play opening of the festival will be staging the French Director Olivier PI, which was brought to the Northern capital his version of the ancient Greek tragedies of Aeschylus “Petitioner” and “Prometheus chained”.
In addition, in the framework of the festival on the stage of the theatre “Baltic house” will present the play Kirill Serebrennikov “to Whom in Russia to live well”.

The joint project will present the theatres of Germany, France and Switzerland. May 31 at theatre will show the play “the river. Horizontal Giacometti”, which was inspired by the works of the famous sculptor.
Their performances in St. Petersburg will bring Russian drama theatre of Lithuania, who will present “King Lear”, national theatre of Ankara, with the production of “Notes from underground” theater. Vakhtangov, his company will perform “the tempest”.
Annually the program of the festival along with performances of renowned Directors and popular theatres include coursework, training and diploma performances of various Russian theater schools. This year the young generation at the festival will present students from the Moscow theatre school under the direction of Oleg Tabakov.
