The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Republic Day, appreciating a meaningful political dialogue between the countries at all levels, the press service of the Kremlin.
As noted in the congratulatory telegram Putin noted the achievements of Azerbaijan in economic, social, scientific-technical and other spheres and stressed the country’s prestige on the world stage and its important role in addressing the pressing issues of the international agenda.
“The Russian President also praised the dynamic development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations in the spirit of strategic partnership, and meaningful political dialogue at all levels and mutually beneficial cooperation in different spheres”, — stated in the message.
Putin also expressed confidence in further development of bilateral partnership in the interests of the friendly peoples of the two countries and in line with strengthening regional stability and security.
