The point of view of Russia does not coincide with the assessment of events in Ukraine made by the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
“Yes, indeed, there is a difference in assessment of what is happening in Ukraine and in the assessment of the current situation with the Ukrainian settlement. Here the point of view of Russia does not coincide with the point of view that was voiced by Mr. Tusk,” — said Peskov told reporters.
Earlier Tusk at the G7 summit in Brussels stated that the EU and the United States is “approximately the same position”, in connection with which he expects to continue the General policy of sanctions against Russia.
