Putin has completely updated the composition of the Presidium of the state Council

President Vladimir Putin approved the new composition of Presidium of the State Council of Russia. The corresponding decree published on the official portal of legal information on Friday, may 26.

The Presidium of the consultative body includes the heads of eight regions, among them the heads of Dagestan and Kalmykia Republic Ramazan Abdulatipov and Alexey Orlov, the Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Natalia Komarova, the head of Khakassia Victor Zimin.

In addition, Putin has included in its composition the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the governors of Vologda and Smolensk regions Oleg Kuvshinnikova and Alexei Ostrovsky. Last on the list — the head of the Magadan region Vladimir Baked.

Thus, the Russian leader has completely revamped the Presidium of the state Council. In his last composition, was approved in November of 2016, was listed as including the Pskov Governor Andrei Turchak, head of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev and the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.

The state Council was established in 2000. The Presidium of the Council, which aims to solve operational issues and to shape the work plan of the authority is renewed twice a year by order of the President.
