The diocese asks the Prosecutor to check the festival of colors in Chelyabinsk

YEKATERINBURG, 23 may. /TASS/. The missionary Department of the diocese of Chelyabinsk appealed to the Prosecutor with a request to check the all-Russian festival of colors in Chelyabinsk in compliance with Russian law.
“The festival organizers maliciously went on Frank forgery by changing the name of the holiday, trying to imagine him as an innocent social life, fun fun for the youth. Avoid the big trouble it’s time to give this phenomenon a principle, including the legal assessment not only on regional but also on Federal level”, — stated in the message of the missionary Department.
The Prosecutor’s office in Chelyabinsk confirmed that he had received this treatment. “The appeal just came in. Question about the audit is not yet resolved,” — said the representative of the Supervisory authority.
As reported on Tuesday TASS representative of the all-Russian festival of colors in Chelyabinsk Artem Sergeev, grounds to ban the activities there. “We have all the documents, the festival is officially held in 2015. It is for entertainment purposes only and are intended to take children away from Internet,” — said Sergeyev.
According to him, basically, the festival brings together teenagers of 13-15 years, which sold paint. “The DJ plays, Teens have fun, meet. Nothing anti-religious in this festival we do not see”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
