Moskalkova spoke in defense of baby-boxes
Moscow. May 23. INTERFAX.RU Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova opposes ban on baby boxes in the Russian Federation, sees them as a chance to save the baby’s life and health.
“I think anything that can save a man’s life, and everything that can help to minimize the harm associated with when a family or a mother abandons her child, has a right to exist,” — said Moskalkova reporters on Tuesday.
“Baby-boxes is a chance to keep the baby alive, not thrown, to maintain health and a chance to be in the future adopted”, she added.
The Commissioner noted that, despite the fact that it is not accessed on this occasion, she participated in the discussion of all the most pressing and controversial aspects of the question.
