Moscow region authorities will spend on the implementation of the program “Clean water” 1.2 billion rubles, said the Governor of the region Andrei Vorobyov. His words are quoted by the TV channel “360” on Tuesday, may 23.
All funds will go to “the crude, rusty, dirty water left in 2017-2018 completely,” said Vorobyov at the meeting of the regional government. He said that the fourth part of the sum of 300 million roubles — provided municipalities.
It is expected that by the end of this year in the programme in Moscow will be built about hundreds of water intake facilities — clean water will be at 93 percent of the population of the region. By 2018, the quality of water will be provided two suburban urban district.
Last year the “red zone” were withdrawn 10 districts of the Moscow region.
May 22, Vorobyov said that all residents of Moscow region will be provided with high quality tap water by the end of 2018.
