Unified state exam (use) in history in 2020 will be mandatory for all graduates. On Thursday, may 18, said the Minister of education and science Olga Vasilyeva. Her words leads RIA Novosti.
The Minister in the course of the lecture “the Role and place of science and education in Russia today. Challenges and prospects” noted that without knowledge of the history of the country it is impossible to move on.
In November 2016 Vasilyev also said about the possible introduction of a mandatory exam in geography. While a few months earlier she was saying that the existing examination system must be changed. Vasiliev suggested to look at what “really happens take the best, discard what is not worth taking on, and go forward.”
2009 high school graduates are required to pass the exam in Russian language and mathematics. While this 11th grader must obtain a rating not below established by Rosobrnadzor. Also, students independently chose to take the exam several subjects required for admission to the University.
