The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov associate the Russians with the development of the Republic and the fight against terrorism. This is evidenced by the results of a survey of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM), published on its website on Friday, may 12.
Describing the head of Chechnya, 4 percent of respondents have used the definition of “good”, as many called him a patriot. The majority of Russians (70 percent) define it neutrally, calling only his position.
Kadyrov’s activities benefit the country, according to 55 percent of respondents. Do not share this view 4% of respondents, with another 22 percent believe that not all his actions can be evaluated positively.
Sociologists say that the number experiencing respect for the head of Chechnya, the Russians increased by more than 10 per cent, from 31 to 42. Like him 23 percent of respondents (in 2016, the figure was 16 per cent).
In the survey, which was conducted 26-28 April, took part 1.8 thousand Russians, the report said.
A year ago, the results of the poll showed that over nine years, the number expressing a respect for the Chechen leader has almost tripled from 11 to 31 percent of Russians. At the same time, a quarter of respondents declared indifference to him, nine — a lack of trust.
