In Turkey a citizen of great Britain was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison on charges of terrorism. About it reports The Guardian.

It is noted that the 35-year-old Ein Leslie Davis was the extremist cell, along with another Briton Mohammed Amazi, nicknamed Jihadi John, murdered us journalists James Foley and Steven Satloff.

Davis is suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in Turkey. Himself convicted of all charges in his address denies: “I’m not a member of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG), I went to Syria because in my country, oppressed the people.”

Jihadi John, Davis and two other Britons Alexander Kotay and El Shafi Elsah formed a cell of the Islamic state (banned in Russia) under the name “the Beatles”. They were engaged in the torture of hostages and murder.

Davis became the only members of the group, who was brought to trial. Location Kotea and Alsaha unknown. Jihadi John was one of the most wanted criminals in the world: the US has appointed over his head a reward of 9.4 million dollars.
