From Russia require $2.3 million for the use of the building in Warsaw
WARSAW, may 8 — RIA Novosti. The district court in Warsaw ordered Russia to pay 8.9 million zlotys (about us $ 2.3 million) for the use of the building on the street Bobrowiecka in Warsaw, according to local portal Interia.
Russia uses several properties in Poland, some of them are the property of the Russian Federation, others are used on the basis of contracts. However, several sites in Warsaw and Gdansk are used, according to the Polish side, without the necessary agreements, which introduces a system of payment, breach of which Poland may apply to the court.
“The defendant failed to appear at the hearing, has not stated his position. The court decided to collect from the Russian Federation for the use of the building on the street Bobrowiecka, 2B about 8.9 million zł” — said in the message.
In early April the district court in Warsaw ordered Russia to pay almost 2 million dollars in rent for the building in the capital on the street Kielce, 45. Earlier it was reported that Warsaw requires the transfer to the Polish side of the building at street Jan III Sobieski, 100 — the former hotel of the Soviet diplomats, now not used. At the end of October 2016 the district court in Warsaw upheld the transfer of the building to the Polish side. In the Russian Embassy noted that such issues are discussed in bilateral talks at the foreign Ministry and submitting them to the court unreasonable.
