The Belgian newspaper Le Soir, citing data from three different institutions Sunday, 7 may, has published intermediate results of the second round of presidential elections in France. According to them, the leader of movement “Forward!” Emmanuel macron is ahead of the candidate from “National front” marine Le Pen, with the index above 60 percent.
The publication says that the evaluation is based on data of opinion polls conducted on 7 may. In Belgium, unlike France, allowed the publication of exit polls until the announcement of the voting results. Assessment on the basis of the first estimates will be available after 19:00 (20:00 GMT) in the first hour the polls closed.
It is also noted that of great importance for the outcome of the election will have the number of blank ballots.
