ROC supported the idea to restrict shopping on Sunday

“Maybe one of the reasons why so many of the families we have destroyed, that people have absolutely no time to just be with each other,” he said.
Furthermore, the priest noted that people working in large retail chains, are deprived of full output. “The question here is about those people who work in these organizations. Because they have no opportunity on Sunday to go to Church, they are deprived of the opportunity on Sunday to be with my family. And this clock line that operates seven days a week for the entire week, turns people into robots,” said the Metropolitan.
Earlier Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on agrarian and food policy and nature management Sergey Lisovsky said that parliamentarians develop a bill limiting the working time of shopping in the weekend.
