Human rights officially requested the records from surveillance cameras of prison №1 of Yaroslavl to ensure that prisoners, including the defendant in the “Bolotnaya case” Ivan the forgetful, indeed, were examined by doctors, the human rights Fund “Public verdict”.

According to the Federal penitentiary service in the region, April 28 at the colony arrived independent Commission of the Yaroslavl doctors employees of hospitals №10 and №7. Doctors described the condition of prisoners as satisfactory, injuries not identified. Moreover, the representatives of protection for medical tests, according to them, was not invited.

Human rights activists say that the FPS on the absence of injuries to prisoners is not true, since the 24th of April they and the lawyers in personal communication with prisoners recorded injuries and documented them in the explanation under the painting. “Defenders are not allowed to use a camera for photographic recording of injuries,” says the Fund. “Hiding from the defense information about the Commission, the time of the inspection and the lack of notification about it cause reasonable distrust of the quality of the survey and its conclusions,” the report says.

According to the investigation, Nepomnyashchikh, who worked as a design engineer at NPO “Rodina” took an active part in fights with police, struck the officers several times with his fist and an umbrella. He was sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment.
