Rules for wearing ribbons of St. George tightened in Russia

Now the ribbon is to tie only on the lapel of his jacket.

New rules for wearing St. George ribbons ahead of May 9 celebrations announced the all-Russian public movement “Volunteer Victory”.

Under the new regulations the ribbon can only attach to the lapel of his jacket. Two years ago the rules allowed you to attach it to the antenna of the car and on bag.

Rules 2017

Annual action “the Georgievsky ribbon” dated for the Victory Day was launched across Russia on April 24. During the event, volunteers handed out free ribbons to everyone.

Earlier it was reported that representatives of the Youth chamber under the Moscow city Duma will conduct raids to identify cases of unethical use of the St. George ribbon and other symbols of Victory.
