In New Zealand a Guinea pig was taken to the police
Constable Elliot is now the mascot of the new Zealand police. He has his own uniform and peaked cap of a police officer.
The Guinea pig belongs to one of the employees of the press service of the police of New Zealand. Constable Elliot likes to be picked up, loves to sleep on lap and can move at a speed of 9 km/h.
Because of these “antichriste” skills Guinea pig got an important mission: Elliott reminds drivers to be careful driving past schools — may 1 students in New Zealand came from vacation.
“Just like me, they (children) are small and unpredictable, so you need to carefully watch the road,” written on the page of the Department in Facebook. The post has gained more than 8 500 likes and almost 1500 posts on the social network: the public clearly approved “fluffy” idea of law enforcement.
