Deputy Minister of economy of Moldova arrested on corruption charges

Moscow. March 31. INTERFAX.RU — Deputy Minister of economy of Moldova Valeriu Triboi arrested Friday night on charges of corruption. This was reported “Interfax” in the National center for the fight against corruption (CNA).

“Valeriu Triboi detained by operatives of the national anticorruption center for 72 hours. Currently conducted searches in the offices of a number of officials of the Ministry of Economics, as well as in other areas. It is connected with the corruption case, the investigation is being led by operatives of the national anticorruption center,” — said the press Secretary of the national anticorruption center Angela Starinski.

Earlier, the Moldovan media reported that the Tribe was involved in the alienation of a residential complex in the town of Ialoveni through dubious schemes. Former administrator of the company “Anevas Cuant” Basil Cetinok told reporters that Valery has taken a raider attack, illegally taking possession of a large apartment complex. According to him, in the illegal seizure of the complex was also attended by the mother and wife of the Deputy Minister and the responsible person of the regional Council and court of the city.
