As a result of a special operation, the head of the criminal investigation department was detained. He is suspected of taking a bribe in the amount of three million rubles for refusing to initiate a case under the article “Forgery of documents.”
According to TASS, investigations are currently underway in the building. “Perhaps these actions are carried out in connection with the suspicion of some employees of crimes,” – said the source of the agency. He added that the operational support of investigative measures is carried out by the own security service of one of the police units.
Earlier in Voronezh, officers of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation caught the director of the administration of city cemeteries on a bribe of half a million rubles. According to the investigation, on December 6, a local resident approached the detainee and asked for a land plot at the city cemetery in order to bury his elderly relative there after her death. The director knew that only the burial of the spouses and relatives of those who had already died, but agreed to help, was permissible in this cemetery. He demanded 500 thousand rubles for his services.
