The cause of death of a 46-year-old man was myocardial infarction. According to the channel, the deceased was a regular guest of the hotel, where he often came and drank.
Earlier it was reported that Ishaev was found dead in a hotel in Khabarovsk. According to local media reports, the man had heart problems before.
Viktor Ishaev was the governor of the Khabarovsk Territory from 1991 to 2009. On February 17, Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky Court sentenced the former governor of the Khabarovsk Territory to a suspended sentence for embezzlement of 7.5 million rubles.
