“The emergence of the Russian Creative Awards, a national award for creative industries, can be considered a new stage in the development of the industry. Identifying and rewarding outstanding projects and creative teams will foster their development and growth. On the other hand, best practices in architecture, IT, fashion, film, music, and other creative fields can serve as an example for others in the industry and can be scaled up. It is important that the award is of a cross-industrial nature and is not focused on one direction. After all, it is interdisciplinarity that leads in the creative sphere to the creation of fundamentally new goods and services. But the most important thing is that creative industries are declaring themselves more and more loudly, including in the format of prestigious large-scale awards. The capital is represented in the competition by several projects at once, which have become notable events in the creative life of Moscow, “commented Alexey Fursin.

Experts representing various creative industries will determine the finalists among several thousand applications. From among them, the members of the Grand Jury will select the winner in each of 10 cross-industrial nominations. Voting will begin on December 6th and run until December 15th.
