Aeroflot on the death of the head of the Crimean representative office Valeev: tragedy and great loss
The head of the representative office of the Russian airline “Aeroflot” Robert Valeev was found dead. Interfax reported this on Tuesday, December 7.
The press service of the carrier stressed that this is a big loss for the organization. “We ask you to understand that at present we are forced to refrain from any comments – for ethical reasons and in the interests of the investigation,” they noted and advised to contact the law enforcement agencies for information.
In turn, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that he knew about what had happened, but without details. “Here the investigation should be asked to comment, I’m not ready to say anything about the reasons,” he explained.
An informed source of the agency said that Valeev's body was found on Sunday, December 5. According to some reports, the investigation is considering a version of suicide. There is no official confirmation of the information on the causes of death of the airline employee at the moment.
